The islands of Hawaii hold a special place in my heart. I have so many memories growing up in Hawaii. As my dad frequently worked in Hawaii I've been lucky enough to have visited as often as I have. The culture and history is so amazing to me. The uniqueness of Hawaiian culture is what makes it so interesting. The history of Hawaii is very unique and different than the rest of the states in the US. The Polynesian culture and traditions brought to Hawaii give the islands their special charm that many admire. Along with the great weather and scenery the natives in Hawaii have amazing traditions. Art, religion, food, and language from Polynesia inspire the Hawaiian culture. Polynesians traveled to the islands of Hawaii many years ago and celebrate their traditions today. My father has worked in Hawaii for 15 years now and Hawaiian culture has been incorporated into my families life. I was lucky enough to spend the past two week in Hawaii with my family and hopefully be able to return again soon. With the pandemic going on safe travels are very important but I can't wait to go back and see the islands.
